Traitement des rides

presentation

The best things always come to an end, and after almost twelve years of practice in Switzerland, it’s time for me to hand over to the younger generation. I have therefore decided to choose two colleagues whom I have trained and will continue to train in my liposculpture technique, exclusively for Switzerland, so that they can continue my work, which began in 1997 in Spain and Belgium and since 2013 at the Centre de liposculpture in Vich, Switzerland.

The development of the ‘Houyoux cannula’ in 2014 enabled me to broaden the indications for traditional liposculpture and, above all, to offer a different approach to the treatment of lipoedema, a pathology that can have a considerable impact on the quality of life of patients suffering from it. I was therefore able to devote a large part of my operating time to this condition at the end of my career.

From February onwards, my colleagues will take over from me at the Vich centre, which will be managed from 01/01/2025 by the company 4 Med Center Vich. This will enable the centre to be opened up to other doctors and surgeons, still working in the field of aesthetics, so as to offer an interesting synergy within the premises of the new company. Personally, I will continue to support my colleagues for a few more weeks to ensure optimum continuity of care for you, using the technique that I have developed over 27 years of liposculpture practice.

I will devote the rest of my career to training surgeons who wish to do so, at an international level. My Houyoux cannula received FDA approval this year. It is now distributed all over the world, including in the USA. This will be a great way of enabling patients from all over the world to benefit from the Houyoux cannula, which was my last objective, professionally speaking. So I’m returning to Belgium, to my family, to complete this final stage of my career.

I would like to thank all the patients who have placed their trust in me and who have enabled me to constantly strive to improve. They were the driving force behind the development of the Houyoux cannula, for which I will be eternally grateful.

You’ll find all the information you need on the new website, which is still being set up at the moment, and which will evolve considerably over the coming weeks and months as new activities develop.

A huge thank you to all my assistants who, during my 27 years of liposculpture, have enabled me to create the Dream Team I needed to develop professionally.

Eva and Danica will continue to provide invaluable support to my successors. This, too, will facilitate a smooth handover.
